After turning the spotlight on the WEMW 2026 edition with the recent announcement of the Co-Production Forum project selection, we are ready to go all in and unveil the complete line-up of all other WEMW sections!  

WORKS IN PROGRESS
Last Stop Trieste, the fine-cut section run together with the Trieste Film Festival, will showcase in its 12th edition 5 creative documentaries previously selected in one of the partner platforms.
This Is IT 9th edition, run once again by When East Meets West and Trieste Film Festival in partnership with Milano Film Network, will present a total of 10 works in progress from Italy and the WEMW 2026 spotlight countries ready for festival premiere and international distribution.
Last but not least, First Cut + will feature 8 promising  titles from 10 countries to more than 60 attending sales, buyers and festival programmers.

EAVE SLATE & INSPIRATIONAL LABS
WEMW is also pleased to announce the 8 companies from 8 different European territories selected for the 5th edition of the EAVE Slate programme, together with the 100 participants from 34 countries selected for this year’s 8 Inspirational Labs. Both initiatives are made possible thanks to the support of our 2026 partners and supporters.

FILMS x GAMES CONNECTION HUB
Last, but certainly not least, WEMW is proud to introduce the first edition of the Films x Games Connection Hub, our brand-new programme run in partnership with SpielFabrique and designed to connect film producers and games studios, boosting new forms of cooperation.
