The 16th edition of When East Meets West came to an end after three intense full days of pitching sessions, works in progress, inspirational labs, talks, meetings…and now, the moment has finally arrived to reveal the winners of this edition!

After turning the spotlight on the WEMW 2026 edition with the recent announcement of the Co-Production Forum selection, we are ready to go all in and unveil the complete line-up of all other WEMW sections!

This year’s line-up includes 11 live action features, 9 creative documentaries and 2 animated shorts coming from 18 countries, set to have their official showcase next January in Trieste.
