INSPIRATIONAL LABS
IMPACT ZONE
Outreach & Impact Inspirational Lab in partnership with ESoDoc
ESoDoc’s lab at WEMW will focus on the design of impact campaign strategies. The team from Think-Film Impact Production – the leading media organisation with specialist expertise at the cutting-edge intersection of film and social change – will lead a guided co-creation workshop, in which selected fiction and documentary projects will delve into the potential and vision for their movies to make a change in society. The workshop includes developing impact loglines, clarifying impact goals and vision as well as crystallising key action steps to maximise film’s potential. The main objective is to enhance participants’ understanding of the value of impact and what it can achieve for their productions and society. The workshop will also help to develop the initial impact strategy necessary for including impact in every stage of the film’s supply chain from script to production and then distribution. They will be introduced to a range of tools they can use to design and deliver impact on a policy level and receive specific project advice and guidance.
