WHEN EAST MEETS WEST 2023 – Special for Ukrainian projects & professionals

After the most urgent and needed event Ukrainian Films Now organized last May in Cannes, in collaboration with EAVE, First Cut Lab, Cannes Marché du Film and many other regional and national European Funds, WEMW would love to continue supporting the Ukrainian film community and it will dedicate a special focus to Ukrainian projects, works in progress, filmmakers and professionals.

We are therefore happy to set special conditions for all our Ukrainian friends:

1. The “preferable 5-10% budget already in place” condition will not be taken into consideration for the submissions presented to the WEMW Co-Production Forum by Ukrainian producers
2. The participation fee for the EAVE Slate or any Inspirational Lab will be waived for all possible Ukrainian selected participants
