Brand new warm-up & follow-up selection!
Due to the large number of applications received and their high quality, the upcoming edition of WHEN EAST MEETS WEST will launch two brand new categories. Along with the final line-up of 18 projects selected for the public pitching, 21 feature film and documentary projects will be presented in Trieste in the “warm-up” & “follow-up” selection. These new special sections will host two different kinds of projects:

Thanks to the launch of these new categories, WHEN EAST MEETS WEST 2012 will finally host 38 projects coming from 16 European countries, an amazing result which shows how the Co-production Forum linked to the Trieste Film Festival has already become an important appointment for both the Eastern and Western European film industries.
The programme of the second edition of WEMW will include the pitching of 18 selected projects, a framework programme with round tables, panel discussions, case studies, one-to-one meetings and it will be a two day exchange of knowledge about recent issues of the Eastern and Western European film markets. All film professionals who wish to attend the event are invited to apply for an accreditation.
PARTECIPATION FEE
The industry accreditation will cost 50,00 EUR and will include access to the public pitching and to all the panel discussions. The industry&festival accreditation will cost 70,00 EUR and will also include access to all the screenings of the Trieste Film Festival.
