Documentary fine cut section

Trieste Film Festival and WEMW announce the sixth edition of LAST STOP TRIESTE, a work in progress section for up to 5 documentary projects in a stage of a FINE CUT, previously developed/presented in one of our partners platform:  Ex-Oriente Film Workshop, BDC Discoveries, Docu Rough Cut Boutique, Baltic Sea Docs, ZagrebDox PRO, When East Meets West.

Selected documentary fine cuts will be screened to an exclusive panel of approximately 40 international sales agents, festival programmers and TV commissioning editors with the aim of enhancing their potential of being selected at top festivals and their chances of distribution, as well as getting valuable feedback.

All films will be in the running for the HBO Europe Award (cash prize of 1.000 EUR), Flow Digital Cinema Award, Film Centre Serbia LST Award (a cash prize of 2.500 EUR) and the brand new First Hand Fabulous Award (consisting in rough cut dramaturgy as well as promotion and distribution consultancy).
The LST 2020 international jury will feature Pierre-Alexis Chevit (MARCHÉ DU FILM – FESTIVAL DE CANNES), Jutta Krug (WDR) and Alex Szalat (DOCS UP FUND).
